EasyHeat RS2 Roof Sentry De-Icing Control, 10 A, 120 V, 1200 W

EasyHeat roof and gutter de-icing controls and sensors are for use with our EasyHeat roof and gutter de-icing heating cables. The roof sentry RS2 unit automatically controls operation of ADKS and 120 VAC PSR electric roof de-icing cables. The automatic control requires both temperature and moisture to turn the system On/Off in response to changing weather conditions. Our GC1 controller has a built-in temperature sensor and is designed to energize the SR, RG or 240 VAC PSR heating cables only when moisture conditions exist and there is a risk of freezing. The MSC1 controller is a commercial-grade unit designed for use with all SR and RG heating cables. It is suitable for controlling snow and ice-melting in gutters and downspouts and is capable of monitoring snow and ice accumulation in three separate snow melting application zones and issuing separate control signals for each zone. The MSG1 gutter moisture sensor is used to detect moisture on roofs and in gutters. The roof moisture detection is made with the unique sensor wire design while the gutter moisture detection is made by the sensing grid on the bottom on the housing. This combination roof and gutter detection system assures detection of moisture and minimizes potential for ice dam formation. Our MSA1 aerial moisture sensor is used in conjunction with the MSC1 to detect falling or blowing snow that comes into contact with the sensor grid. The TS1 temperature sensor is a replacement unit for use in the MSC1 controller.
